stories_at_4 is an illustration series inspired by my fascination with solitude in the early morning, when the enveloping darkness from the previous day still lingers. The slowed and the oblivious mind creates a vacuum that lasts 'till the sun paints the clouds and sky, 'till the air of reality comes filling back in before the city grunts and sighs to face a whole new day.
